Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

This page sets out the intended structure and commitments, but has not yet been reviewed by a qualified adviser and does not yet contain the operator’s registered details. It must not be treated as the final published policy.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no logins and no shopping basket. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, because we have nothing to do with the transaction — that happens entirely on Amazon, under Amazon’s own privacy policy.

What we collect

  • Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies we record aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and which outbound links were clicked. It is used to work out which pages are useful and which are not.
  • Nothing at all if you decline. Analytics scripts are not loaded until consent is given, so declining means no analytics cookies are set.
  • Anything you send us. If you use the contact form we receive what you typed and your email address, and use it only to reply.

What Amazon collects

Clicking a “View on Amazon UK” link takes you to Amazon, which sets its own cookies to attribute the referral. We receive aggregate commission reports from Amazon; we never receive your identity, your order contents or your payment information. Amazon’s handling of your data is governed by their privacy notice, not this one.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, most of these requests resolve quickly — but they are yours regardless. Contact us to exercise any of them.
